Hello peoples of the planet!

This blog will be discussing the worldwide legend of the mill and mill stone,and what it all means.

First though,as promised in the last blog,we will continue on with the connections between the weeping virgin (Venus/Isis) and old father time. (Saturn/Satan)

Taking a closer look at the bible account of the Feast of Tabernacles or Festival of Booths…..Sukkot.

This festival is celebrated in the Hebrew month of Tishri,which corresponds in our calendar to late September till late October. (see the wiki entry on Sukkot above)

Late September till late October belongs to one sign of the zodiac,that being the sign of Libra!

If you’ve been following along the last few blogs,you will know that the sign of Libra is ruled by Venus,and Saturn is exalted in Libra.

That alone tells us there is the link between the two,Saturn/Satan (Old father time) and Venus/Isis (the weeping virgin) in Libra.

The word  Virgin “Almah” in the bible doesn’t necessarily mean a woman who has not had intercourse.

The word “Almah” can also mean maiden/young woman.

The “weeping” in the term “weeping virgin,” can also mean a menstruating woman/maiden.(symbolism contains many meanings.)

It also means the end of the harvest in the signs of Virgo/Libra,hence the broken pillar on the statue. (Virgo weeps for the Sun/Mars falling back into autumn and winter at Libra (crying for things past/crying for The Sun as he leaves his throne at the summer solstice,where he lost his head in the personification of John the Baptist) as Saturn (old father time/grim reaper) exalts or arrives on the scene himself.

If you know the story of Isis and Osiris,you will know that she cried over a broken pillar also,that pillar being the penis of her husband Osiris.

Isn’t it interesting that another name for the penis is the “member” and Isis re”members” Osiris in the story. (more in a later blog)

The bible talks about the weeping women at Ezekiel 8:14

“He brought me to the north gate of the Lord’s Temple, and some women were sitting there, weeping for the god Tammuz.”

Tammuz is the Sun at the summer solstice and those women are again crying over the suns declining strength,or the softening male member after it being at the most high. (erection)

However while the Sun/Mars is in his decline,Saturn is on the up and up as is the feminine part of the cycle….Saturn and the virgin/maiden are about to get together,and this is celebrated at the festival of booths.

The Hebrew name for the festival of booths is “Succoth Benoth” meaning “booths of daughters.” (or prostitutes.)

The festival of booths was a sex festival in the sign of Libra,where Saturn and Venus are together,just as the account in Genesis talks of the tree of Knowledge,the apple and the fall.

The bible story has Saturn/Satan/Serpent/Snake enticing Eve/Venus to come and eat of the fruit! (sexual act).

It was the ancient Jewish version of a sexual free for all commune for a week.

It’s following nature and the zodiac cycle,it’s not good or bad….we only perceive them to be so from our viewpoint/indoctrination.

In Aries (spring equinox) the Lamb/Sun comes to meet his chaste bride/full moon dressed in white (for the 6 months of light)….however at the autumnal equinox,she turns into sexy Venus and becomes frisky Babylon the Great (for 6 months of darkness) until God puts a stop to her shenanigans and brings the balance back again.

The zodiac helps all of the riddles in the bible to unravel and…ahem…expose themselves!

The colour of Venus is green in alchemy….and with all that said….it sounds like it was a bit of a sukkot sizzler back then!

Notice the girl in green (Venus) is holding the four species,the lemony looking thing is called an etrog,representing the feminine principle/breast/womb and the lulav in her left hand consisting of three items the lulav,hadass and aravah which represent the two testicles and erect penis,it is the opposite ritual from the spring equinox which is the pure and holy marriage…this festival is of anything goes. The virgin becomes the harlot in autumn time of the cycle…Babylon the Great in revelations the mother of all harlots.

Notice in the song above,they sing about shaking the lulav in six directions and then back to the centre…..see the blog “at sixes and sevens” for more on that.

Look at the poor kids in this Awake magazine.

The Watchtower society proudly proclaim that all of the kids died “putting God first.”

This is but a fraction of JW’s who have died since the Watchtower society banned blood in 1945.

However this video shows in under 2 minutes the hypocrisy/flip flops and lies going on in the organization,this time regarding their blood policy.

In 1994 the Awake magazine said this.

“In former times thousands of youths died for putting God first. They are still doing it, only today the drama is played out in hospitals and courtrooms, with blood transfusions the issue.” Awake! 1994 May 22 p.2

Then four years later they say this!

Watchtower December 1st 1998 page 14 in the article “Defending our faith.”

“Jehovah’s witnesses have been targets of false accusations-bare faced lies and twisted presentations of their beliefs…The accusation that numerous children of Jehovah’s witnesses die as a result of refusing blood transfusions is totally unfounded.”

So there you have it,on one hand they are parading the fact that children are dying bravely for their stand against taking blood,and then four years later say that the accusation that numerous children die from not taking blood is “unfounded.”

Think of the poor people stuck in there,most ,but not all,blind to their organizations flip flopping and the fact that people are losing their life for a lie.

Yet the very book they claim to follow says this….

Matthew 12:7 “However, if YOU had understood what this means, ‘I want mercy, and not sacrifice,’ YOU would not have condemned the guiltless ones.”

Let’s get going on this blog.

 

Samson (Mars/the Sun) is betrayed by Delilah the cunning/dark/female/eve/enchantress/the sinister/left-handed/siren/Venus calling him to the rocks of his doom and he eventually ends up down at Gaza (the goat) Capricorn…the midnight of the year.

The winter solstice is a time of merriment and parties (Christmas and New Year)….and on cue,there is a party going on at Gaza and Samson is taking centre stage.

Judges 16:23,24

“Now the rulers of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god and to celebrate, saying, “Our god has delivered Samson, our enemy, into our hands.”While they were in high spirits, they shouted, “Bring out Samson to entertain us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he performed for them. When they stood him among the pillars.”

And verses 29,30.

“Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other. Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.”

Samson literally brings the house down on all!

This is the midnight of the year,when the old day gives way to the new.The old year dies and the new one is born a babe…a cycle has completed,the snake has eaten its tail.

This gives us a glimpse into the workings of the cycle,when the cycle ends it is usually party time,people are too distracted partying to notice that the house is about to collapse on them,they cannot see the writing on the wall,Belshazzar did not take note at his party also.

There was another strange activity happening with Samson before his death at verse 21.

“Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison.”

Samson grinds grain in prison as shown in this painting.

This grinding mill motif is seen in myths worldwide.

In the introduction of the book Hamlet’s Mill it says this about a particular mill that ground out three things.

Amlodhi (HAMLET) was identified, in the crude and vivid imagery of the Norse, by the ownership of a fabled mill which, in his own time, ground out peace and plenty. Every cycle has a part of it where the old mill wheel falls off as it moves from age to age and the whole house comes crashing down.

The first wheel grinds out plenty.

The next wheel grinds out salt.

The last wheel is thrown into the sea where it causes a maelstrom.(Maelstrom literally meaning “mill stream.”)

Strangely the book of revelation talks about a great millstone also.

Rev 18: 21

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

It is the millstone that comes crashing down,causing a maelstrom that brings down the world structure of Babylon,(the feminine force in nature that has sold herself/prostituted/contracted herself out to her lovers),rather than the pure woman who holds the child lovingly in her arms.

Remember Babylon the great sits by many waters…not a good place to be when the swirling mill stone is thrown into them.

Again it’s not evil,just the contrasting force to the perceived (at our level) good feminine force.

Nature out of balance! (Koyaanisqatsi) and natures own way of bringing the balance back…everything has it’s tides!

Her lovers have also come to their doom,at cosmic and other levels.Adam and Eve are again collapsed and what was Malkuth becomes Keter.

The searched for kingdom now becomes the new crown (Malkuth means kingdom and Keter means crown).

(Seek first the kingdom,then you shall receive your crown and become Kings and Priests)

Adam and Eve are the two pillars on the tree of life which are collapsed for the new Adam and Eve (male and female polarities) to take their place,as they go to the new tree of life.

Anybody that watched the film “Knowing” (gnosis) will understand that is what the ending is showing.

The older order is collapsed and the new polarities go to the new Eden.

This is what Aleister Crowley means when he says this.

“By a flick of the wrist, she can be transmuted to appear as the original Yod, and repeat the whole process from the beginning.”

Notice he says this at the bottom of the page.

The fool tarot card in the Thoth deck has the fool coming out from the 3 swirls. (the final “Heh” swirl becomes the new kingdom in his heart.

The three large swirls are the swirls caused by the three “mill stones” of the age which gives birth to him. The fool is the new child born to us,the same child as held in the arms of the woman with the twelve stars in revelation…foolish/childlike,yet full of vigour as the new dawn has arrived.

This legend of the mill/potters wheel is told throughout the world (Also think of Judas buried in the potters field)

Let’s have a look at some of the legends.

Notice again the three mills…wealth,salt and maelstrom.

The Mill of Wealth

King Fróði of Denmark is renowned for his peace and his wealth. He buys two strong slave girls Fenja and Menja from Sweden. The quernstones that are to form Grotti are found in Denmark and are given to Fróði by a man with a giant’s name (Hengikjøptr) (SnE). In Grs 10–12 Fenja and Menja claim to have discovered these millstones long ago. They caused earthquakes when they dislodged the stones from the earth. Grotti would produce whatever the grinder bade. No one but Fenja and Menja was strong enough to turn it.

Fróði made the giantesses grind gold, peace and prosperity. He granted them almost no rest. They sang Grottasøngr as they worked. Furious at Fróði’s cruelty to them they ground out an army, and a sea-king Mýsingr came and slew Fróði (SnE); in Grs there is merely a foretelling of Fróði’s overthrow. The quern breaks, and the milling must stop (Grs). The end of Fróði’s reign is marked by thunderings and lightnings, earthquakes, the disappearance of the sun, and the upsetting of prognostications.  Thus Fróði’s peace came to an end.

The Salt Mill
Mýsingr takes Grotti, Fenja and Menja. He bids them grind salt. They grind until the excess of salt sinks the ship. This causes the sea’s saltiness.

The Whirlpool Mill
There is now a whirlpool where the sea fell into the eye of the quern. Comparable are traditions about the Mælström, which was regarded as a ‘grinder of ships’, if not a mill.
Of the three motifs, the poem contains only the first; the salt mill and the whirlpool mill may be later additions of common folk tales to the myth. However, the poem focuses on the demise of Frodi after the cracking of the stone, and may have excluded these elements deliberately.
The final whirlpool mill grinding the ships is alluded to in the book of revelation.

“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
    where all who had ships on the sea
    became rich through her wealth!
In one hour she has been brought to ruin!’

These three whirlpool/millstones/rotating forces are those represented by the 3 swirling forces at Newgrange.

Kether or “the new treetop in the next tree of life” is brought about by the three rings/millstones.

Kether is the new “fool” who comes out of the darkness/womb of the three feminine forces.

Remember the feminine part of the year is ruled by Saturn (hence the dark Satanic mills of Blake) and in the darkest part of the daily/yearly/great yearly cycle the new day arrives,(although not dawn). This dark time when the sun is present but not yet active is the parousia…it is alongside us but not yet in power.

These three dark satanic mills give birth to the New Jerusalem/the new child!

Read through the wiki page above and notice that Blake is alluding to more than just the mills of England’s industrial age.

Particularly this passage.

Do you grasp what Blake is saying?He is referring to these three sisters/forces…Ain/Ain Soph/Ain Soph Aur…in the stars they are grinding out plenty,on the earth grinding out salt (the salt of the earth) and finally the maelstrom of the sea mill,which grinds out the old and births the new!

Jesus uses the imagery of the millstone being thrown into the sea also at Matthew 18:6

“If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

Old father time/Saturn/Satan the ruler of this world,is the one in the wheels within wheels……Saturn truly is the Lord Of The Rings!

Shaddai is Saturn/Satan the shady one…the shadow,who gives the gift of light to all mankind at the winter solstice in the form of Santa giving us the gift of the new Messiah…Jesus at Christmas,the darkest time of the year. Ho Ho Ho!

It’s About Time……….to talk about our old friend Saturn again!

Notice the long beard. Whether Saturn,Chronos or Santa…they all have the long white beard. Note also the hourglass and its two sections….just like the northern and southern hemispheres of the earth…or the two parts of the yin/yang.

Daniel 7:13,14

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days (Saturn) and was led into his presence.

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.”

But before we do talk about Saturn let’s look again at the bible talking about the sheep and goats.

Matthew 25:31-46

³¹ “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. ³² All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. ³³ He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Look again at my woeful attempt at drawing below to see that the bible is talking about the zodiac.

Now notice that the bottom left corner of the zodiac is winter/3 months of darkness.

And winter is ruled by Saturn/Satan…the horned one…the goat…Capricornus!

In the book of Daniel chapter eight it tells us about a ram fighting a goat also.

This is allegory of the fight between light and darkness.

In what way?….well in a few ways,so let’s have a look at some.

We’ll start off by using the “Hebrew letters” and “Gematria”

Yod,Heh,Vav,Heh…..The Four Letters…..The name of “God.”

Notice below that each of the Hebrew letters has a numerical value.

You will notice that the letter “Yod” is the tenth letter with a value of 10

Then the letter “Heh” has the value of 5

The letter “Vav” has a value of 6

And the final “Heh” has a value of 5

10+5+6+5=26!

Next let’s look at the “tree of life” in Kabbalah.

Now notice there are three pillars in the tree of life above,the right pillar (male) called the pillar of mercy.

The left pillar (female) called the pillar of severity.

And the middle pillar,called the pillar of balance or equilibrium.

Each of the pillars represents among many things the hemispheres of the brain (right/left) and the balance/middle pillar (corpus callosum )

God represents the balance of the two forces (male and female) which is represented by the middle pillar.

Now with that said,count up the numbers on the spheres of the middle pillar.

Kether,Tiphareth,Yesod and Malkuth.

1+6+9+10 and it also adds up to the number 26!

Now we go back to the vision of the four living creatures of the Zodiac as seen by both Ezekiel and John the Revelator.

The four living creatures represent the four fixed signs of the zodiac,(and YHVH….respectively Fire,Water,Air,Earth)Yod,Heh,Vav,Heh.

(A quick recap of the four fixed signs…..The Lion represents Leo (Fire),The Eagle represents Scorpio (Water),The Man represents Aquarius (Air) and The Bull represents Taurus (Earth))

The fixed signs are the middle signs of each season and equate to the middle pillar of the tree of life.What I mean by that is that Leo is the middle of summer,Taurus middle of spring,Aquarius the middle of winter,and Scorpio middle of autumn.

Now that said,of the twelve houses of the Zodiac…

See the chart below,locate the four living creatures,and note what number of “house” they rule.

The second house is ruled by Taurus (one of the living creatures)

The fifth house is ruled by Leo

The eighth house is ruled by Scorpio

and the eleventh house is ruled by Aquarius.

These are the four living creatures!

Now add up the four “house numbers”

2+5+8+11 and you get the number 26 yet again!

Then there is the word “God” in “English Gematria” (English has 26 letters unlike Hebrew which has 22)

The letter “G” is the 7th letter of the alphabet.

Death,Chaos and Darkness are connected to the dark part of the cycle….namely Autumn and Winter…with the Lamb of Aries in the distance…The lamb of Aries is when the Sun returns to fructify the earth once more as daylight becomes longer than the nighttime and overcomes the darkness.

At some point the light will disappear and the dark forces will reign,however like summer gives way to the dark days,these dark days will have to give way to the light yet again…it is a cycle and the bible gives us the assurance that the light will return by telling us the lamb will be on the heavenly mount again…the lamb is Aries,the month of the spring equinox,the return of the lamb of God who takes away the darkness/sin (“sin” in Spanish means without) of the earth,the barren wasteland that winter leaves behind and brings back growth/warmth/fecundity and light.

We are at the end of this light part of the cycle right now and darkness will have it’s day,but just like the symbol of the owl in the previous blog,the darkness will bring us more wisdom and teach humanity’s survivors a harsh (and ultimately good) lesson and will eventually usher in a whole new way of thinking and behaving.

We can see the old wineskins leaking right now,people are leaving religion in droves,it is outdated and cannot hold the different influences of this new “age/aeon.”

If you break the word “mocking” down you get “mock king” and again this brings us back to the substitute stand in for the death of the King.

Caiaphas (being high priest) would have understood this ritual of the “mock king”, “divine victim” and “scapegoat” “sacrificial lamb” very well.

Is this what the bible is telling us about,this sacrificing a Divine Victim to bring about prosperity to the barren wasteland,this well known ritual that has echoed all throughout history?

The death of the “Christ” brought about new growth and a new mode of thought.

He also talk about Kings who only reign for a fixed term before being killed and replaced.

People generally celebrate religious festivals nowadays without giving much thought as to the meaning or significance behind them.

One example of this would be Christmas…how many people understand that Christmas is the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere?….the time when the sun is at its weakest.

In the suns journey round the zodiac circuit of the year,it has reached the sign of Capricorn/tropic of Capricorn….and the light of day is in short supply……the darkness rules the day…the nights are long and it is cold…however at the winter solstice the sun is “born again” and it starts its climb back up to the tropic of Cancer.

The sun is born again…..and it is only going to gain in strength each day….the daylight is gradually lengthening.

The light/Jesus/saviour has returned to the world!

You can see the zodiacal influence hidden in the festival of Christmas….just under the surface as usual…however it’s only noticed if you recognize the patterns.

For instance….we have the twelve days of Christmas….. why 12?

Santa is a personification of the God Saturn who rules the winter solstice..why?Because Saturn rules Capricorn!

The sun is born at Christmas in the sign of Capricorn….just as the sun is down at the tropic of Capricorn.

Remember Saturn is “Old Father Time”/Chronos….and old father time/Saturn has a long white beard.

The book “the secret teachings of all ages” says this on page 243

However in this blog we will be focusing on another festival celebration and using the zodiac as a key to unravel its meaning.

This festival is Halloween….autumns mysterious festival that falls each year on October 31st.

How many people know the reason why people dress in grotesque costumes of demons and ghosts on this night?

People generally do it from the sheer force of custom,habit and tradition and little or no understanding of the meaning.

Whereas Christmas and Easter are regarded as religious festivals…Halloween is seen as more of a secular festival….expressing frivolity and mischief rather than the piety of the other two.

yet when it was originally conceived it was just as important as these others and the significance actually is inherent in the bizarre observance

so why the revelry?……why the grotesque?…why the freedom from moral restraint?…why the wearing of masks?

why the acting like an untamed animal for a night?

why the candle shining through a grinning pumpkin?

why bobbing for apples in a tub of water?

why witches riding the sky on a broomstick?

why imps and sprites and monsters and even the hint of satan himself on this last night of october?

well lets look past the outward form of the ritual and look at the inner meaning

although if you’ve read my previous blogs you will already be forming some connections already

just as the sun has a four part “life” each year on the earth….spring/summer/autumn/winter

and the 12 zodiacal segments or steps are divided into these four seasons

the 12 divided into the 4 segments …each segment/season…containing three signs each

spring has the 3…aries (cardinal fire)…taurus (fixed earth)….gemini (mutable air)

so the soul entered its incarnation and after an incubation period of 40 days culminated its progress in its final glorified state and emerged into the hallowed state of its initial/incipient stage of emerging godhood/sainthood again

and isnt it apt that november first…the day after halloween is called “all saints day”

the 31st of october(halloween) virtually symbolizes…what easter symbolizes at the end of the 40 days of lent….the soul in both cycles comes to its beatification at the forty days end.

the human body arrives first to build a brain and nervous system through which thought and mind and consciousness come

so it is the first stage of our unfoldment that halloween portrays…the animal stage

and the glorification of all saints day comes after the animal stage/halloween in us

and it is this animal stage that is being revered at halloween…….

he’s leaving the sun behind in the card above and about to set off on his adventures

he’s the unenlightened one…the one who has no clue who he is…in fact he is about to step over a precipice!

according to the secret teachings the soul is in its unawakened state of its childhood

and this is a deep…esoteric meaning of the celebration of halloween…..and the foolishness surrounding the festival

the court jester/fool and the king are representations of the two polarities in the soul

in the top half spring/summer of the zodiac the soul is as king

and the bottom half of the zodiac autumn/winter it is likened to the fool

however back to the autumnal theme

the prime theme of halloween is revelry as the soul comes into the flesh and the opposite is carnival which means putting or shoving away the flesh that happens just before the 40 days of lent….so the flesh gives itself one last party around this time

can you see how this part of the year from halloween till close to easter is the time for incarnation…..or the dark night of the soul

the part of the soul’s cycle in which it sees through a glass darkly!

the natural cycle on earth shows us this is when things crystallize…..ice and snow etc

this is when the soul embodied in flesh is given free rein to impulses of the flesh and in the indulgence of carnality

and can you also see the story of the prodigal son emerging!

in fact myth abounds with stories like this souls being among animals or jonah swallowed by a whale….nebuchadnezzar becoming like an animal (remember he even lost his reasoning?)…daniel in the lions den…romulus and remus being suckled by a she-wolf

this is what halloween is telling us about!

why witches though?…why is halloween associated with witches?

the german word for witch is hex….six…witches are also associated with the female usually

and the female is associated with matter…saturn and matter/isis/the virgin are linked by the number 6….(see the blog saturn the lord of the rings for more on the six)..and while the inner male sol/soul is entrenched in feminine matter it can seem grotesque…it is the god in the feminine state of winter/night/hell/darkness…..remember…earth and water are the female elements

so the male soul/mind entrenched in female matter can give us a glimpse of why a witch has a broomstick….it’s the male phallus!

and you can see more male symbolism…because the witch flies in the sky….air (male principle)

and when the witch is on her broomstick you will usually see the moon…and when the soul is giving vent to its carnal impulses it is subject to lunacy for this one night

and over it as a matrix…man’s physical body was formed of earthy
material… it is lunar influence that affects the two lower bodies…so says the arcane astrological
science…it is solar influence that dominates the two upper bodies…the mental and the spiritual.
but when soul migrates from heaven to earth it comes first predominantly under the lunar
forces, which bestir in the body the fires of sense and emotion

and talking about the matrix above….the film the matrix is telling us allegorically about spirit emerging out of matter

the word “matrix” means breeding female…mother….womb…..matter!

and isn’t it interesting that in the film the main character is called thomas (the twin/two parts of the zodiac/john the baptist and jesus/the two adams etc) anderson

and he is also called neo…..neo means new…and anderson….ander means man…and son

new son of man!

and neo is an anagram of one

remember isis/matter/matrix said…the fruit I bring forth is the sun/son

and the new son of man comes out of the matrix/mother/isis/matter

matter comes first and then mind

again…is this just wordplay?

now why do we bob or duck for apples?….think of the fall of man…..and by tradition eve offered adam the apple to eat…and ducking into water for the apple is the same symbolism of baptism…the soul has been captured into water with the promise that it will one day make its way back out of the water into the air(male element) again

just like the sun plunging into the sea at sunset!

and the pumpkin with the grotesque face and the light on in the head

through our mind (head) while we are in the earthly body..the grotesque earthiness symbolized by the pumpkin…the soul is represented by the fire in the mind…the almost extinguished flame shining through the mask of the earthy body…its the dark night of the soul

and while in the heavenly part of the souls journey…..there is a whole body of light according to religious and occult teachings…its the daytime of the soul!

why do people wear masks which hide their identity at halloween?

this is symbolism of the mask of personality

when in this flesh the fool learns through the pain that his folly brings…it teaches the soul lessons…the flesh is like a teacher chipping away at the soul…teaching it lessons

so there is a conflict between the mind and the flesh

this is what the book of revelation is telling us

thus begins the inner battle of armageddon spoken of pictorially in revelation

as the mind starts the battle to rein in the desires of the flesh…because the sensual flesh stubbornly refuses to take the reins

all to bring about the balance or marriage between the male and female…..aka mind (male) and flesh/emotions (female)

this is the real meaning of the marriage of the lamb

and the secret of the ancient alchemists when they symbolized it thus

see the feet of the androgyne on the moon?….the soul has conquered the lower half of the zodiac…the feminine/winter part of the cycle….symbolised by the moon/feminine principle

its also the meaning of david slaying goliath….hitting him in the forehead with the stone

the old adam (the senses/emotions) through evolution will give way to the new adam (mind/spirit)

again……two are male…and two female

now get this…..the sun sets every evening in the west

if you watch it going down…it will descend into one of the female elements

the sun is going down into darkness/death/hell….in the west……..can you see how the two elements earth and water represent darkness and the feminine?…..exactly pictured as the black section of the yin/yang….and the west is also feminine

and every year the feminine/dark part is the autumn/winter

that is why there are billions of people stuck in the dark/comfortable womblike religions in the world….every one of them thinking they are the right religion

however it’s not a good thing to be comfortable………

this is why jesus said…exert yourselves to enter the narrow door

and we know what happens when the male and female come together…..things happen…births and stuff!

Libra (the scales).Judgment Day and the “Fall” of Man.

“You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”

Today when this blog is published,is the autumnal equinox and the start of the sign of Libra….Sept 23rd 2014.

On this day we see the end of the suns reign on earth during the year.

The 6 months of Spring and Summer are over,the 6 months of light and growth have come to an end.

It’s his “Judgment day.” He has now reached the yearly part of his journey where he meets the scales of justice…..The sign of Libra!

He’s heading down to hell/winter from Libra onward folks,its all downhill for “Sunny Boy” in the northern hemisphere.His strength is diminishing fast!

Libra kicks off the 6 months of darkness in the Northern hemisphere.

The glyph for Libra looks like the sun setting.Remember in the cycle of the day,Libra equates with the sunset,can you see the sun setting in the glyph below?

It’s also similar to the Greek letter “Omega.”

Libra arrives at the Autumn Equinox (aka the fall).(Equi=equal-Nox=nights)

There are two times of balance every year,the sun passes over the equator at both the Spring Equinox (Aries) and passes back under the equator at the Autumn Equinox (Libra).

Expansion where things grow and sprout outwards (spring/summer) and Contraction where things recede and retreat back inwards(autumn/winter).

The Autumnal Equinox arrives each year in the sign of Libra (sept 23rd),the scales of justice,or the balance,and it is the balance of the year,the two forces of light and dark meet at the equinox,however for one of those forces it’s time is up!

The sun has been “weighed in the balance and found wanting” as stated above.

In Egyptian myth,the sign of Libra is represented by Ma’at,the Goddess of the scales who weighs the heart of the dead.

Can you see an allegory/story emerging?

Libra is the doorway or portal from light to darkness,the days become shorter than the nights at this point of the year in the northern hemisphere,as Summer gives way to Autumn.

It’s at this point of the year that the sun heads down into Autumn and Winter,or in allegory it heads down to hell/darkness/sin,the scales of the year have tipped over to the dark side!

The sun has been captured by the dark side,hence……

The sun has given earth 6 months of warmth,light and life to all creatures in the northern hemisphere,and it’s also grown crops for mankind.

He was mister friendly sun during those 6 months,however,that now stops.He is the dark sun now,the hidden sun.Saturn was also called El or Elus,he is the elusive sun.

Jesus is now going to be judged on the scales.

Mars is also exiled in the sign of Libra.

The planet Mars is the red planet,the alchemical colour of Mars is red….red is Adam/Mars…and the colour surrounding the Sun when it sets!

Just as Eve-ning (see Eve in there?) is the sunset of the day,Libra is the sunset/”even”ing/balance/scales of the year. The sun is allegorically heading out of the garden of Eden and heading into exile.Sunset is the breezy part of the day,which might cause you to connect when God comes to speak with Adam and Eve.

So Adam falls or goes into exile in the sign of Libra(the fall)….is this by chance?

Again…..Libra is the sign when the fall or autumn starts every year.

All of the fairy stories about a princess eating an apple/getting kidnapped/falling asleep or going into exile is merely an allegory of this time of the year in the sign of Libra.

Among other things,notice the faint human skull in the block of stone(Autumn is the start of the death half of the yearly cycle),the scales,the hourglass representing time?

In the book of Daniel we have the story of the writing on the wall.

The writing on the wall in Daniel is an allegory of the Autumn starting in Libra,the scales,and getting judged.

The “writing on the wall” is the stars aligning,the wall being the wall of the heavens in the sky.

Belshazzar is even told,”You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting.”

Think of the two sacrifices Cain and Abel gave to God,they are the two opposites.

Abel sacrificed a lamb to God.Why a lamb?

The Lamb=Aries/springtime(think spring lambs).Abel represents the spring equinox,which leads to 6 months of light and life (his sacrifice gained God’s favour)

And Cain offers the fruit of the ground.

Now when do you get crops?…Autumn time around Libra!

Cain represents the Autumnal Equinox.Then Cain kills Abel his brother……Abel the light/sun/consciousness/goodness dies when he hits Libra.His brother Cain for his part in the tale,goes off into exile during Autumn/Winter…the abyss.

The nighttime part of the year!

Or in the bible story he goes off into the “Land of Nod” and here in the UK the “Land of Nod” means to go to sleep,which we do at night.

It’s all parables and allegories that speaks to our psyche,because its nature and we are part of the natural cycle.

They are two “robbers” or thieves” in that they take from each other every year.They are aspects of time.The “good thief” takes the “darkness” away from the “evil thief,”and the “bad thief” takes the “light” from the “good thief.”

The thief at his left hand (left hand is the side of disfavour) mocks him and will head into perdition…he represents the autumn equinox.

He’s heading down to hell/the inferno/inverno.(Inverno means winter.Hell is cold folks!….it’s the cold flames of fire/decomposition)

This thief represents the spring equinox.”Paradise” occurs when the sun enters the sign of aries at the vernal/spring equinox.

The sun is falling and is going into exile for the night.

And to reiterate from earlier on,what about the word evening…..the time when the light and dark are even.”even”ing up or balancing.

Can you see the name of eve in “eve”ning?Again is it just a coincidence or wordplay?

In the year it is the sign of Libra/the autumn equinox/the evening of the year.

The “fall” of the year.There is fruit hanging on the trees,about to fall off.This is when the harvest happens.

Everything sprouts or springs up from the earth at the spring equinox.

….and falls at the autumnal equinox!

Libra is the sign of the scales/the balance.This is the time of the year when people sold their harvest and traded with others.All things were balanced out.

Also as stated in a previous blog,Libra is also why the devil comes to you offering contracts.Libra is also the the time of year everything contracts,whereas in Spring everything expands and blossoms just like the lambs wool by the suns light.Eve contracted with satan by taking the thing he offered did she not?And she accepted the fruit.She allowed the vampire over the door. (This should tell you about how “evil” works,it tricks you into giving over your will and allowing the dark forces to overtake you by your own consent)

Libra is also the time when “hell” begins…hell being darkness/autumn/winter.

In Spring/Summer things on the earth expand outward…plants/life.

In Autumn/Winter things contract inwards,there’s the word “contract” again!

Manly P Hall in one of his talks on astrotheology says there are certain clues that some of the disciples give as to what sign they are in the zodiac.

First off,notice that they are in 4 groups of three….each of the four seasons contain three months/zodiac signs.

All of the “good” signs,Spring/Summer zodiac signs are at Jesus’s right hand.

In the bible,the just or the good sit at the right hand.

Matthew 25:33

“And He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.”

Matthew 22:44

“‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”‘

These “good signs” are from left to right Aries,Taurus,Gemini,Cancer,Leo and Virgo.

At Jesus’s left hand are the “bad” or Autumn/Winter zodiac signs.

Libra,Scorpio,Sagittarius,Capricorn,Aquarius…..and finally Pisces!

So the one standing at the head of the table (far left) is Aries.Aries starts things off every year….Aries is the head of the table!

Remember Gemini rules the arms,so with that in mind,can you see the disciple third from our left holding his arms up in front of him?

look at the fifth from the left,sprawled across the table.This is the sign of Leo,the Lion King of the zodiac.(The sun only rules one zodiac sign,and that is Leo)

What about the disciple who looks female between Leo and Jesus?That would be the sign of Virgo.(the woman in the zodiac)

The one at the left hand of Jesus who has his arms out like the statue at courts and also in green is Libra(the scales)…see his two arms like the scales of justice?

What about the two who are facing away from Jesus at the far right.They face away from  him…..why?

They are Capricorn and Aquarius,ruled by guess what planet?Saturn/Satan.They are the only two signs ruled by Saturn and in opposition to Jesus.

3 Religions and the Masculine /Feminine

Islams holy day of prayer is Friday.

The Jewish religion’s holy day is Saturday.

Christianity’s holy day is Sunday…….three days in a row.

……..ever wondered why?

It’s to do with the zodiac and the planets and occult science.

Jesus is the light of the world and the Sun is the light of the world….of course it is….the Sun and Jesus bring happiness/healing and growth.

Every year,Christians climb hills and mountains at Easter time to welcome back their saviour..the Sun.

The Sun of God!

The cross of Christianity is a phallic symbol also….it isn’t bad…it’s nature.

It is the divine male/masculine…the Sun….remember I posted a picture of the fool card with the sun over the penis of the figure of the fool.

Just as the Sun rises gloriously every morning…..all males also get “morning glory!”

Every year millions of people all over the world celebrate Christmas as it arrives around the Winter Solstice.

In Rome there was a festival celebrated around the winter solstice called “Saturnalia.”

And what sign of the zodiac is December 25th in?

December 25th is in the zodiac sign of Capricorn…the goat!

If you are familiar with some astrology,you will know that each sign of the zodiac is traditionally ruled by one of the seven planets…look at the table below and you will see that Capricorn is ruled by Saturn.

Saturn rules the house of Capricorn(the goat),he is on his throne in Capricorn,and in the northern hemisphere Capricorn starts off the three months of winter!

Here we have a depiction of the house of Capricorn…Capricorn is the goat and the planetary ruler of Capricorn is Saturn!

Winter is the time of darkness and death in the northern hemisphere….also of cold and decomposition!

In the yearly cycle, the Sun/The light of the world/Jesus “dies” at the winter solstice as it reaches the tropic of Capricorn.The old Sun of the previous yearly cycle dies here,just before the “new” sun starts the next cycle off.

In allegory,Jesus is forsaken by his father,and killed by Satan!

Notice the theme of darkness in the scriptures,also Jesus being forsaken at Matthew 27 verses 45 and 46

“Darkness came over all the land.And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

 

Notice again the theme of darkness…..it’s the winter solstice,where the sun dies on December 22nd…and 3 days later you celebrate Christmas…the “newborn baby” Sun is born for the next yearly cycle.

This is the “cross” below which Jesus/The Sun dies on every year.

See the winter solstice?This is when Jesus dies to the old year and the new year is about to start.

 

As said,death,cold,darkness and hardship are the kings of the earth in the northern hemisphere at the winter solstice.

Saturn the ruler of the house of Capricorn is at his strongest at this moment of the year.

Saturn is Satan….Ruler of the house of the goat!

Note Saturn with this sickle,this is important because Saturn is also the “Grim Reaper.”

This is why this time of the year was called Saturnalia in Rome around the sign of Capricorn at the winter solstice.

It is nature in allegory!

Satan/Saturn rules the inferno,Saturn rules the night time of the year/the dark/the cold…he is Mr. Freeze….Mr. Cold!

He is also “the prince of the power of the air!”

“And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air.”

Why is Satan/Saturn called the prince of the power of the air?

“I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me”

Look again at the above bible verse

Jesus (the sun/light) who rules spring and summer says “the prince of this world is coming”

The “prince of this world” would be Satan/Saturn who rules the autumn/winter.

Jesus reign starts at the spring equinox (march 21st) in the sign of Aries.(Aries is the ram/sheep/lamb) Jesus is the lamb of God.

His reign lasts for six months till the autumn equinox arrives at September 23rd in Libra…the scales of justice.

These are the six months of light/growth/fecundity.

 

In the above picture,Jesus/the Sun rules this part of the zodiac,the spring/summer months.In the mystical teachings this is called “The Royal Arch.”

However in the story of Jesus in the bible,there is a time when he is about to be judged.

The six months of light come to a halt,the nights are about to get longer than the days…everything is about to be reversed…growth and light have had their day!

This happens in the sign of Libra at the autumnal equinox!

Libra is symbolized by the scales,and you still see the scales connected with courts where judging happens to this day.(It’s all due to the zodiac and astrology)

We are now in the sign of Libra (around September 23rd),when the scales tip and the darkness now rules over the light.Nights are longer than the days!

What planet exalts (or rises) in Libra?

And what planet falls in Libra?

The Sun/Jesus is on the way up (in the bible he is gathering his disciples and about to set out on his preaching and healing ministry)

Back to Saturn in Libra though……

Libra is the “cardinal” air sign.

The cardinal signs are the power signs,they are the “we have lift off” signs.The power that starts each season…the door to the season (and cardo means hinge)

They are the signs that start the season off.The door/gate and spark of each season.

Aries (fire sign) starts spring off.

Cancer (water sign) starts summer off (hence tropic of cancer is the summer days in the northern hemisphere)

Libra (air sign) starts autumn off.

And Capricorn (earth sign) starts the winter off.

As we saw earlier,Saturn exalts in the power (cardinal) air sign of Libra.

Can you see now why Saturn is the prince (exalted in Libra the air sign) of the power (cardinal) of the air?

Again…Libra is an air sign.

It’s all an allegoric,poetic way of telling us about Saturn exalting in the sign of Libra at the fall/autumn equinox(return of darkness to the northern hemisphere)

This is when darkness/Satan/Saturn returns to reign for 6 months,and the sun is in decline and off into exile.

Saturn rules this world,his symbols are all around us,and yet very few notice this fact….let me explain.

Lets look at some symbols of Saturn.

Saturn’s colour is black in astrology/alchemy…..well he is the prince of darkness after all!

Saturn is also connected to the shape of a cube (six sided) according to the Sefer Yetzirah.

60 minutes.

24 hours (4×6)  are the 24 elders in the book of Revelations.

We have 1440 minutes in a day ( if you took 1440 to the third degree you would get 144000…a day for a year for a great year!) (Another number in the book of Revelations).

These numbers are connected to “time.” “Old Father Time,”also known as “The Ancient of Days” in the bible,with his long white beard.(The God Saturn has a long white beard)

Saturn or Chronos is “The Grim Reaper”(see my post “the magnificent 7” about the link between Saturn and “The Grim Reaper).

Why is Saturn the grim reaper?

Because Saturn is Chronos and Chronos gives us the word “chronology”…..it’s all to do with time!

Mankind has been hexed with time!….Again hex= number 6.

And time eventually destroys everything on this earth……EVERYTHING!

The greatest civilizations on earth will all eventually disappear.

Do you get what Shelley is saying?

He tells us of  a ruined statue in the desert,two legs and a shattered sneering face of a once powerful ruler!On a pedestal it says “My name is Ozymandias “King of Kings”..”Look at me ye mighty and despair.”

Yet despite all of his power and command….even his statue lies rotting….He hadn’t reckoned with Old Father Time,who sweeps everything away…..Saturn is the skeleton with the scythe or sickle….who harvests mankind and levels everything and everyone with his deadly blade.

And us?

The sands of time are running out for us also.We will soon be 6 feet under.And there’s the 6 again…he he

This is the real meaning of “THE LAKE OF FIRE.”

We live in the figurative lake of fire……or in the fiery hell of the bible!

Decomposition and decay is happening all around us.From bodies to buildings to vegetation to rocks.Everything will die and decay.Some things decay slower than others….but given enough time they will all disappear.All because of Saturn/Chronos/time and decay.

This is why Saturn is the grim reaper.He is death and decay personified…he is the old goat,who laughs at the plans of even the most fearsome human and their plans for world domination.

As Shelley said in his last verse of the poem above.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

At one end of the scale is decomposition,yet…at the other new life and structures are being built!

Its a cycle………or like a snake or serpent eating its own tail!

This is the meaning of the Ouroboros.

Do you see the star of David/Remphan/Saturn/Satan in the above picture?It’s all a symbol of chronology…the serpent eating it’s own tail!

So really…Satan/Saturn does rule this world of matter and constant decay and rebirth.

2 Corinthians 4:4

Notice in the above scripture,the contrast of light and darkness,the blind and those who see the light?

Saturn was also called “Set,”as in “sun-set.”When darkness returns in the cycle of the day,and the Sun seemingly plunged into the dark underworld to the ancients!

Because Saturn,the black sun rules the night/cold/frightening dark.

Satan really is the ruler of this world,because he is a metaphor for time and decay,destruction and death!

However unless things decay,you would get no new growth.That is why manure is needed to invigorate new plants and life.

Satan/Saturn is also called Beelzebub,or lord of the flies,as flies are found at this end of the spectrum or cycle.

Decomposition and death/destruction……and new life through that process!

Remember the sun is reborn every year at Christmas,the darkest time of the year!

Jesus was born in the midst of his enemies,allegorically in the scriptures.Herod/Herrut tried to extinguish the newborn light.

Christmas occurs in Capricorn (the goat). Satan rules over new birth also.

The birth of the sun on December 25th,as it starts the new year.

New life grows from decaying matter….manure.

This is why Saturn is the god of agriculture…..However his harvest is everything, humans included….he completes the cycle!

New life comes through Saturn/Satan also.

So really,Don’t fear the (grim) reaper and his sickle!

He’s only doing his job….and as has been said elsewhere.

“Its a dirty job….but someone has to do it”

That someone is Saturn!
